adidas International Training Program (adidas ITP) is a sports marketing company that specializes in the logistics of travel and understands the soccer details necessary to ensure a safe and incident-free trip. Through its affiliations with Europe's and South American top professional soccer academies, adidas ITP offers the most complete soccer travel experience and is designed to promote the development of youth soccer through elite levels of competition and high standards of coaching.
Our services
adidas ITP programs are designed to complement the European academy philosophy that promotes the proper balance between competition, training and education. We offer highly customized youth training and game programs for top level youth players who are ready to take on a new challenge to advance their training.
adidas ITP has developed five programs to choose from:

Although adidas ITP programs are highly focused on soccer training and competition, time is allotted for sightseeing and cultural exposure to assure an educational travel experience.

Founded in 2000 by Billy Hartman and with over 25 years of experience in the soccer market, adidas ITP is a soccer company run by soccer people. Advised by some of the world’s top academy directors, adidas ITP follows the same developmental criteria set by the English Premier League. Expertise in soccer and travel logistics ensure a smooth trip, and the quality and credentialing standards maintained by adidas ITP will provide the parents and coaches with the necessary assurances that their children will be safe and well cared for while overseas.
Bios
Founder (adidas ITP) & CEO: Billy Hartman USA
Billy Hartman has over 25 years of experience in the United States soccer market and was formerly Senior Vice President of The International Academy, a worldwide sports marketing company that specializes in sport travel and operates in five different continents. Prior to the International Academy, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Umbro America. He was a University of North Carolina varsity soccer team captain and professional indoor soccer player in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of North Carolina. Billy's primary responsibilities include sales, marketing and strategic development.
Founder (eSoccer) and Chief Marketing Officer: Germán Argüelles
Germán has over ten years of experience in the United States soccer market and was formerly a Business Methodology Consultant and a Product and Project Manager for Microsoft Corporation. He lived in the United States for seven years where he graduated with a BA in International Economics while playing varsity soccer for the Carson Newman College, as well as going to Graduate School to the University of Tennessee to earn a MSc in Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics. Most recently he has studied an Excecutive Program in Corporate Social Responsibility at Instituto de Empresa (IE), and he is always looking for ways to connect the professional sports industry with the field of development through sports. He was born and raised in Asturias (a state in the north of Spain popularly known as "The Natural Paradise") where he grew up playing the beautiful game with his dad and his three brothers. Germán's primary responsibilities include international sales, marketing and strategic development.
Partner and Chief Operating Officer: Nacho Sánchez
Nacho Sánchez has over ten years of experience in the United States soccer market. He was born and raised in Madrid, in a total soccer environment and then moved to the US at the age of 17. He lived in the United States for over 13 years and worked for the Spanish soccer company Kelme as a Marketing and Promotions Director. He graduated from Wilmington College of Ohio, where he also played soccer during the four years as a pre-graduate. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration. Nacho´s primary responsibilities include operations and logistics for all trips.
Advisor: Dave Richardson - PFCA Chairman
Dave was, until 2005, Director of Youth at the Barclays Premier League. After having played and coached at non-league level in the 60’s and 70’s, he first became involved at professional level with Middlesbrough looking after schoolboys and youth players from 1966 -1976. He was appointed Youth Development Officer at Aston Villa by Ron Saunders, then left to become Youth Team Manager at Leicester City in 1980, first with Jock Wallace, then Gordon Milne as Youth & Reserve Team Manager from 1982-87. He then rejoined Aston Villa as Assistant Manager, with special responsibility for Youth Development under Graham Taylor between 1987-1990. He continued this role with Joe Venglos and Ron Atkinson until 1994, when he was appointed Director of Youth at the Barclays Premier League. Dave worked closely with the then FA Technical Director Howard Wilkinson to establish the current Academy system in professional football.
All technical aspects of each adidas ITP program are developed and advised by Dave Richardson.
